As an Oklahoma native and Oklahoma State University alumna with a Master’s in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Imani combines scientific expertise with a passion for local community. Imani is a Laboratory Compliance Inspector for the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority but in her spare time, she volunteers in the Native American Languages Library at Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History and Sisu Youth. Imani loves actualizing ideas and is committed to helping others win at life on their own terms. She enjoys reading, music/cultural festivals, practicing Ifá and collecting physical media. *FUN FACT*: Imani has a cat named Junie B. Jones and a cat named Illo, both named after book characters.
